broke phone

Hello there!
Is the device fully charged I would assume? Have you tried to remove the battery, wait a minute or so, reinsert, then try to power it up again? (or is the battery even removeable?) :)
What are the events, if any, that led up to this issue? e.g.: phone died, phone updated recently, new app installed etc.

someone tried to reboot my phone because it was charging slow sow they pressed the power and volume up button at the same time now i get a blank lighted screem

I'm not sure what you consider "basic stuff" but I would try to boot into recovery mode, and then clearing the cache partition only.
Now, different devices require different button press combinations to enter recovery mode. All begin with the device off.
I cannot find a particular method to access recovery mode on your ojji nitro phone, but you could try different methods including some of these methods here:

Just focus on part 1 there.

And remember, if you are successful in entering recovery mode, just clear the cache partition only, do not choose to reset, or factory reset :)
 
try pressing and holding the power button for 30 seconds. Sometimes these things get stuck on a power down and you have to force boot them.
