I have been doing this for almost a year. It's a bit annoying but not really bad as the charging station I got had a battery included so whenever I'm out I always have battery at home charging.Easier to just get another battery and a changer station....swap batteries every other day....or every day depending on your usage.

File transfers/ software updates are bit of a hassle though, I have to make sure that my USB cable sits tight inside the port and doesn't get moved at all.
