Hi im trying to unlock my phone (screen black but phone still works) remotely through 'find my mobile' on the samsung website but im not able to do this as the device offline. Apart from getting a new screen is there any to turn the WIFI or mobile data on ?
Thanks, Dan

Not without seeing the symbol to touch on the screen .only thing would be able to do is use phone as a paper weight . or wait til the digitalizer come in the mail

You can try this if your offline, but still can connect to a computer.
I did this with my LG G2 with a screen that was black, BUT still has touch functions.

If, the screen is black, but the touch functions still works (this is was very important).

Connected phone via USB to the computer,
THEN...
Have two of the same phones side by side,
try to unlock by mimicking... it should show up on your computer to access the files.

Once unlocked...
With each touch take a screenshot and view where you are (access on the phone via computer, internal storage>pictures>screenshots)
You can turn on whatever you need.
I would also suggest turning on touch sounds, so you know when you are hitting a button.

I hope this helps out

If you have usb debugging enabled, you can use this:
http://code.google.com/p/android-screen-monitor/
to display your Android's screen on your computer. If it is still accepting touch input, you can navigate the phone that way.

If you have root, your can even use your mouse/keyboard to navigate/interact with the phone.

If you need any help setting it up, let me know and i will do my best to walk you through it
