I have a sad story.
Brokophono is an interesting little game. Basically, people start games by typing something (anything they want). Then, a random person will be asked to draw a picture that represents the phrase that was typed. Another random person will then describe what they think the picture is. Yet another person tries to draw the new description, etc. Once the chain has completed a predetermined number of revolutions, you are able to view the whole thing. Really cool concept and usually very entertaining.
Unfortunately, there was a slight issue with the game wherein you were emailed when a chain was completed. It was a mass email to everyone who had a game completed in the past 24 hours. All of the email addresses were in the "To:" field rather than "Bcc", so when I got my first email I also got the email addresses of 250+ people, and they had mine. Not okay.
I emailed the developer and expressed my dislike of this functionality and stated that I would not be using the app while it functioned this way. The bad part: I also CCed (not Bcc) all 250+ people in order to highlight what I thought was a very serious issue. It was a dick move, I admit.
The developer emailed me back and apologized and said that he fixed the issue. I feel awful for bringing all of those people into it that may not have otherwise had a problem, especially since he fixed it so quickly and would likely have done so without me CCing everyone.
I hope i didn't do any serious harm to the success of his app and am posting here (new account, but long time reader) to give it a bit of a plug as I genuinely do find it entertaining and unique. Give it a spin!
