Browser - open link in new Tab?

The browser on ideapad K1 doesn't seem to have ability to open a link in a new tab. Is it possible to do this?

You can open a link in new tab by holding the finger a little bit longer over the link and it will come up a menu asking you want do you want to do. One of the options is Open in new background tab.
