Help BT car problem

I have a Pioneer AVH 3200bt in my truck that auto connects to my phone for calls. The pioneer does not have the correct BT profile to stream music (Pandora), so i use the head phone jack to connect to the stereo to run Pandora through my truck stereo. Now the problem, I can still make calls either by the controls on the stereo or the phone itself but I can't hear the call because the phone thinks I have headphones plugged in. Is there any way around this or is this just a shortcoming of my stereo?

Not knowing exactly how you've wired up the connection it's difficult to know what's happening but i would suggest having a look at the earphones that come with the S3 and make sure the connection you've made is not shorting out the mic section of the earphone connector in the phone. There's a setting in the 'phone' settings called 'my call sound' where you can test the mic etc. If the phone doesn't detect a mic connection IIRC it thinks you'll be putting the phone to your ear or you'll have no way to talk to the caller. This means it won't divert the sound to the earphones either. With the supplied earphones there's a mic built in so the phone diverts everything externally.
I think you've either got to do the whole thing via BT (which you can't due to the BT music profile) or do the whole thing via the earphones with a mic (hack a mic into the connector maybe)
Does it work o.k. if you pull the earphone connector out?

I hope that makes sense.
