Help BT pairing/connecting

I've recently moved from a Desire Z to an Xperia P. My Z paired fine with my Jabra SP5050 but I'm getting nowhere trying to pair with the P. The Jabra's blue light is flashing which means it's in pairing mode, but the P can't see/find it!

I can't sign in at the Sony support forum for some reason, so I wondered if anyone here could help me?

Are you certain you have the P in discover mode? Should be in settings BT etc you set the phone to be discoverable. I hope this is the problem for it's an easy fix Good luck.

Yes, phone is in discovery mode, as you say it's a very easy thing to do!

I have seen this one before, you will generally need to reset your Jabra device. Its a bit outside my support but fro ma bit of hunting on the net it looks like you can reset it by pressing the volume down button once and then volume up button three times, though this seems a bit odd.

Thanks folks, have now bought a new Jabra Cruiser 2, I think.

It and my P connected almost immediately, so all sorted.
