Missed update of nexus 7 2 from build jss15j to jss15q. asus tech support no help in how to get update now other than to say just wait for the notification of update on your screen while on internet. Problem is I use my nexus to listen to streaming music a lot and the screen is off or I am away from the unit and not seeing the screen. so what happens if that is the case and I don't see the update notification for one reasons or another and I miss the update chance again. This could go on for ever. I need the update to correct the gps problem. No one seems to know how the update system works, how or when you will have the option to update. There is no site you can log into and start the update process. When I use the system update check in the nexus 7 2 it says "your system is up to date" which it is not.
This is a hell of a way to run a system. Anybody have any work around. I know there are some third party sites that you can download an image but i am not that sharp on this android system to trust myself in this, I would probably just blow the whole system and not be able to boot up again.
