well I wanted to share this I've been working on a new console that will have things a gamer can do,

so far the Project Names is Code Name: Orion here's my goal and introduction of why I made a prototype

Introduction:
The most important thing about a console is gaming is not only a hobby, its revolutionary, We all wanted hardware that gives u the freedom to do what you want and the power to run most decent of games without paying more from your wallet, Code Name Orion will do what you expect it to do and do it fast in a snappy. BUILT BY A GAMER FOR GAMERS...POWER TO THE GAMERS!!!....This isn't the best intro but its the best I have!

so here's what will be in the console so far as hardware goes (remember I built what I can afford):

Specs:

* OS: Windows 10 Home with ctOS Network Modification (Upgradable)

* CPU: AMD Phenom 2 Triple Core 2.1GHz 1.5MB Cache, 512Kb for each core, using a S1g4 Socket (Upgradeable)

* GPU: AMD ATI Radeon Mobility HD 4200 533MHz with 2GB Of VRAM (Not Upgradable)

* RAM: 4GB DDR3 1600MHz 3.74GB of RAM Free for the user (1GB Used for OS & RAM Is Upgradable)

* Storage: 1TB 5400RPM SSHD (Upgradable)

* Display: 1366x768 60Hz

* USB Ports: 2x 2.0 USB Ports

* VGA Connectors: 1x VGA Output

* Headphone Ports: 1x Mic In Port & 1x Headphone Jack In Port (Both 3.5mm)

* Ethernet Ports: 1x 1gbps Ethernet/LAN Port

* SD Card Slot: 1x SDHC Port

* Speakers: 2x Top Small in housed Speakers with 5.1 Surround Sound Support

* Keyboard: 1x Full Qwerty Keyboard with integrated Number Pad

Cosmetic Specs:

* Design: Using a Toshiba Satellite Shell to house the hardware

* Color: Black

what do you guys think I'm using the prototype now to do many of testing so I can make adjustments

Wow sounds like an exciting project.
Did you consider using a Linux based O/S? You would likely get better performance out of the hardware.

would love to use Linux but not a lot of games support it I can have an option in bios to switch upon os you install

Sounds interesting!

What's "ctOS Network Modification"? Isn't ctOS from the game Watch Dogs? How does that incorporate in to Windows?
ctOS yes it based off the game, but not that purpose ctOS Network is a infrastructure that the OS I rebuilt from win 10, its soul purpose is for the os to get updates from my server instead of Microsoft but doesn't effect applications that requires Microsoft servers to run, unless I patch them to do something else etc, so I can improves add new features or controls hardware for me if I wanted to have the users cpu overclocked since the bios has no options to do that!
