Root Builds

I am curious what you all are trying right now.

I just switched to:

crap kernal 1.2 (newest before retirement of joeseph mother)
ultimate tran van rom eb28
go launcher

Go is pretty, but i dont know if i like it yet. crap kernal seems pretty good so far and i like the rom.

Stock EB28
Droid Kernel v6, File systems all EXT4
Laucherpro which hasn't been updated in a seemingly long while.

If you don't know your file system it's safe to bet you're RFS or 'my phone is so slow I throw it at a wall almost every day.' :)

yes, that is exactly true. btw, you can check by rebooting into recovery.

does eb28 make things faster? i think i see my evening evaporating in front of my eyes.

Hmmm...this is me exactly. What is EXT4? If that helps with speed, I'm all for it. :)

EXT2 is the fastest, EXT4 is the most stable. I used EXT2 since Clockwork Mod recovery came out without a crash, but I am a lucky one :P

TL;DR
Use EXT4
