Accessories Bumper case with raised back and removable?

sreum

Android Enthusiast
Has anyone ran across a bumper case that has a raised lip on the back to keep the camera off any surface and can be easily removed with out a tool?

Everything I run across either doesn't have a raised edge on the back side or it has a plastic back asking with the bumper trim.

I've got the OEM LG Bumper Frame.
You'd think it'd be raised enough to keep the camera lens from touching, but, noooooooooo. :wtfdroid:
If you find one, lemme know. :thumbsupdroid:

I am looking for one without a back. Just the frame. Something like a TPU case. Has anyone seen one. I have had one for my last three phones, but cannot find one for this phone. Seems strange

Not exactly what you're looking for, but, here's this:
(many listings on e-Bay & Amazon,Google search OEM LG V10 BUMPER):

It's a hybrid metal-coated plastic/TPU backless bumper.
I have it myself & went as far as separating the two pieces,to see if the TPU would be rigid enough to stay on & it's not,you need both pieces.
It's pressed together,so,you shouldn't have to worry about it separating.
Just take care in removal/installing,as installing it backwards or,upside down will likely have the outer piece break on you (did it myself, all in the name of science ;) ,easily fixed w/a couple dabs of Crazy Glue) :thumbsupdroid:

Thanks!
I actually just ended up picking up a nice leather holster.

Would you say its only purpose is to protect the aluminium sides of the handset? If so, comments?

That's pretty much it & when placed face-down raises it just enough to keep from touching the surface.
Not really enough to keep the backside raised in the same scenario.

My case for the LG V10 is:

LG V10 Case, RANZ Classic Black Hard Impact Dual Layer Shockproof Bumper Case For LG V10/ LG H961N/ LG H900/ LG VS990/ LG H901

via Amazon

Yes, I like it, but do note it doubles the "thickness" of the phone.
