Help Button Mapping

Hi,
A while back I carried out a full hardware reset of my Mini Pro. Since then I have lost the mapping for the camera button. A partial press brings on the flash and focus when in the camera app, but a full press returns me to the main app menu and does not take a photo.
Is there anyway to change the mapping of this button ?

Can you please explain what you mean by a hardware reset? or are you referring to a Factory Data Reset?

have you flashed the software at any point, i flashed mine to uk 2.3.4 using wotanserver, i forgot that because i am in belgium my phone uses an AZERTY instead of a QWERTY keyboard, so all the buttons were wrong so i just re flashed it back to generic belgium and everything was fine. if not you could maybe try repairing the software with the pc companion.
