Warning to anyone buying an android tv from androidtv.com. I bought a jailbroken android TV from AndroidTV.com six months ago and purchase the service contract that includes 45 minute technical support per month for year. My box start freezing up there for three months, I called texted email Jason owner of the company multiple times with no success. I finally sent this final text and this is the response I received.

I paid for a one year support package. I've called, texted and emailed for three months now with no response from you. My next step is I am reporting you to the better business bureau and posted on every tech blog I can find on how you run your company.

Buyer beware. This is how this guy does bussiness

It's a common problem I think, in addition to shady vendors, so many of these cheapo "Android TV", "XBMC" and "MX" type boxes are just poor quality and will often malfunction, brick or die completely.

FWIW "Android TV" is actually a Google trademark and is a specific product, and is nothing to do with these cheapo no-name things that often come from China. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Android_TV

A lot of rookies tend to make that mistake.they buy the first thing that has a xbmc logo slapped in front of the box.just get a fire tv.any noob can easily put xbmc on it.
