Buying a new Phone: S2 or S3?

Hi everyone,

I'm looking to buy a smartphone and I've settled for a Galaxy, just not quite sure which one. An S4 is out of my price range so i'm thinking of getting either the S2 or the S3. The price difference is about 80euros (105usd). This is my first smartphone and I'm not very knowledgable so I was hoping you could help me out. Basically, is it worth spending the extra money to get the S3 and if so, why?

Depends what you plan on using your device for.
If it's for gaming, the newer chips in the S3 will have a noticeable difference compared to the S2.
If it's just for occasional youtubing, checking e-mails, and social networking, the S2 should be fine. But be noted that it's quite outdated now and it already received it's last update earlier this year.
Coming from a guy with an S2, I would pay the extra $80 for the S3.

I have both an S2 and a S3, I'd get an S3 its got a better screen fast processor better gpu.

I agree with iTzKPanda and Mikessv - go with the S3.
