Help Buying a Phone but is advertised as a flashed OS?

Hi just sold my iPhone as I got fed up with not being able to do a lot of simple things on it, I'm looking to buy a Oneplus 3 but both the sites I've looked at have advertised it with a flashed OS, is that another name for Oxygen OS or a different OS? Would it be advisable to buy these if they don't have Oxygen OS as both in the specs say they have it but Idk if that is just C&P?

A 'Flashed' OS is one that didn't come from the manufacturer of the device... In this case it may be a tweaked version of the one that shipped with it (oxygenOS), or some other version.

A Stock OS is one that either shipped with the device, or was updated on the device by the manufacturer (OTA)
IOS is by definition a Stock OS.

If I was buying a device which had a flashed rom on it, I'd want to put a rom on it where I knew there wasn't anything 'hidden' in it.
