Im looking for an unlimited data/hotspot plan. No overages. No throttle.

I know that currently no big name carriers offer them however i have seen them offered on eBay. I'm sure some are a scam but i hear some are legit.

How do i go about differentiating between a legit offer and one that is bogus/the service will get cut off in a Month/ill be throttled etc?

Also i found these guys buried in a google search

Remove the spaces or Google them. They seem semi legit but whenever i come across the promise of unlimited data i Am a sskeptic

i think there are some pre-paid plans .. that have unlimited data.
some even are part of the big 4 providers.

Link please because I've looked. Everything ive found either:
1) throttles you after a certain amount
2) charges you a certain rate for each additional mb or gb etc over a limit.

Sure Metro has unlimited highspeed but throttles tethering after 6gb .

I haven't seen one unlimited hotspot option anywhere minus that suspect link i posted

metro PC... has unlimited fast.. for your phone. (this is what I thought you wanted.)
but you can only do up to 6gb on hotspot tethering.. high speeds.

I don't think there is anyone that does... tethering unlimited at high speeds.

When metro still supported cdma i had my lg motion on unlimited data and i was tethering 60-75gb a month. Of course it only worked because i found a way to turn off whatever was blocking the ability to tether.

If you search unlimited hotspot on ebay you will find what I'm talking about

Only $199.99 a month!!!....OK. If you want truly unlimited, no caps, no throttling, think that's what you might have to pay.

Att has ones for 100on there too. I just was curious if anyone knows if these are all legit? Anyone buy something like this from ebay?

Could be a scam, quite frankly I've never heard of taking out data plans via Ebay, usually deal directly with the carrier. Could be a US thing? I'm originally from UK, but now in China. Back in the day in the UK, you used to take out a contract with an air-time provider, who dealt wholesale with the carriers, Cellnet(now O2) or Vodafone, but that doesn't happen now AFAIK.

The idea is, the Verizon line remains in their name and you lease the line from them. Most charge $150 per month. You pay through PayPal, and they want you paying the PayPal fees. Since you cannot get an unlimited plan any longer, it's a way for you to use theirs. Wish I had the fore thought to purchase a couple of hotspots myself prior to unlimited going away.

Metro tethering on the unlimited plan is now up to 8GB.
You're not going to find a better deal from any of the major carriers and nothing legit at a comparable price period. $60/month and it's on the T-Mobile network which is quite good these days and getting better (unless you happen to be in a lousy area, all carriers have them).
