Can I buy apps for someone else? .....say for instance,as a gift? My son may get an Android phone but I want to be in control when it comes to buying apps.

Just to quote the best answer from the page linked

As app developers, we've been asked this before. The best solution we could come up with was to ask your bank if they handle Visa or Mastercard gift cards. You should then be able to purchase an app with this gift card and not require an actual credit card. Hope this helps!
