Buying apps off the market!

I recently brought a couple of cheap apps of the market and I expected a charge for conversion as I live in the UK and the apps where in $ but I was not expecting a

Overseas transaction fees originate from your credit card provider.

I have my UK debit card associated to the Google Check out and haven't had any extra charges at all, so I would say it's your card provider.

i have just noticed this also.
i have cards from 2 different places and both have a charge.

It would be your credit card provider. I bought an app from the UK, and had no surcharge.

Bought sevaral apps in pounds, euros and dollars. Never pais any sort of transaction or exchange fee

who is your card supplier? that doesn't charge any fee for $ purchases
