Buying App's

Hi, I'm not sure if this is in the right section so sorry in advance if it's not. :)

I recently tried buying some app's from the market, I put my card details in and that. Tried selecting my card but it says (Invalid) at the end of it, Why is this? I use the card everyday at ATM machines etc and no problem, I'm confused on what to do :\

Thanks!

Is it a debit card, check card or credit card? A check or credit card should work fine, but I don't think a regular debit card will.

The cards is attached to your Google Checkout account and you should be able to see and/or edit your information from here:
http://checkout.google.com

It's a credit card I use to buy app's. Think is it's ages ago since I signed up to google when I got my phone and I have no idea what my username is to log into Google Checkouts :(

Username and password should be the same as your primary gmail account (ie the one you used to setup your phone).

Debit cards are accepted if they're in the list of accepted cards, visa debit works fine because its visa but maestro doesn't even though its MasterCard, not that that's your problem. Anyway a friend of mine got his to work by going through the Google checkout process online with the card he wanted to use and then cancelling right before the order. He could then select that card in the market to pay with. Before that it kept telling him his card was invalid.

Hope this helps!

I had to re-set my phone and set it up with a different username and password the 2nd round time and for the life of me can't even guess what the username or password was.

I use a visa debit card from my checking account and never had a problem with it. Are you making sure you put the correct CVV2 number in the process as well as the card number. If not that is a reason it can be declined. The CVV number is a three digit number on the back of the card.
