Can someone explain me what's the catch here? If I want to buy OnePlus 3 directly from their website it's $399. Amazon wants $500 for it. What am I missing here?
In the light of absolute unaffordability of Pixel phones, I'm looking for other options to replace my N5. Pixel prices in Canada are even more prohibitive(insane) due to the exchange rate. OnePlus seems to be a good choice among affordable phones, offering same level of flexibility for Android enthusiasts (bootloader unlock, etc.) as Nexus used to. Unlike Pixels that seem to turn away from old Google ways, and offer non-vanilla Android experience.
But this price difference baffled me completely.
