Buying used

Hi, can anyone tell me if I buy a new Samsung phone from someone who has had an unwanted upgrade from e-bay will the warranty be valid ?

No. One, because you are buying from ebay and not an authorized retailer. And Two, its still considered used once you leave the store with the phone.

What I meant was if the phone still has 10 or 11 months warranty left would this transfer to a new owner? When I sold my camera recently the manufacturers were OK about transferring the warranty to the new owner, just wondered weather Samsung would be the same otherwise it seems like a very bad deal to save a few pounds and end up with nowhere to go if there's a problem
