Buzzbox removed from Market!?!?

I sent the folks at BuzzBox a question and they replied, but also noted that they can't make any changes to the app since Google pulled them off the Market. No expalantion why as of yet, but if you use it and you like it, send Google an email to let them know you want it back!!!

Well, whatever the reason, it seems they have decided not to pursue the market option anymore. But they gave the code to the developers and one of them has posted it to the market under his personal listing. I don't know exactly how he's going to be able to sustain the app if Google already took it down once, but here is the link he emailed me. He said he'll be updating it, slowly but surely. This version is supposed to have a couple of changes to the notifications. It will NOT replace the version you may already have, so you have to choose which one you want and set up your sources all over again.

I haven't tried this app - looks pretty cool though. I am using News Rob right now to read my Google Reader stuff, but have been looking at some other news apps too. This looks like a good one to try, but I'm wondering why they pulled the app from the market. It makes me a bit wary but I've had some questionable apps on my phone already :)

I still have it on my phone but i removed the widget for now as there are a few quirks I don't like, so I got Pulse to try out for now. Good thing they are all free ;)
