Help Buzzing when placed near other equipment

Does know what could be causing this?

At work, whenever I place my Maxx on my desk near my two computer monitors, after a while I hear a loud buzz -- and I'm not sure where it's coming from. It also happened when I was in a conference room once and placed the Maxx near the conference phone.

I don't remember this ever happening with the DX.

The computer speakers and the conference phone were probably picking up signals from one of the radios on your phone being pulsed on and off at audio frequency. Do you have something like Bluetooth or WiFi turned on that were not turned on on your previous phone?

I've seen this happen with a lot of phones.

Someone at my work came to me with this problem with her dumb phone.

It's probably just the cell signal interference. The only solution is to not have your phone too close to the computer, AFAIK

Thanks, guys. I don't have wi-fi or bluetooth turned on. It's weird, because, as I said, the Droid X never did this.

in my experience...GSM phones do this much more noticeably than CDMA phones. Also, the 4G radio seems to cause it as well. I get a slight buzz in my computer speakers that I never used to get from the plethora of 3g phones I have had, but I get it slightly more with the last 2 4g phones I have used (Razr Maxx HD and Droid DNA)

That must be it, then. I get this buzzing almost any time I have the phone near a monitor or speaker phone.
