By Pass Screen lock

Once screen goes dark and you hit power button and says press menu to unlock...how can i bypass that i downloaded an app with better slider lock but that menu lock kinda kills it makes it double long to unlock phone how can i bypass it?

double-tap the menu button instead of the power button followed by the menu button. honestly, it's fast than a "slide"
