Hey , My LGMS631 Wifi is uninstalled,i hope someone can help with a reinstall
of stock or another workable app. i've
rooted it ,had the problem with TWRP
install also.forhttp://now my main concern is to get wifi installed would appreciate help..thx bb225
 
Nothing we can do what you gave us man, all I can say is kdz back to stock but you didn't tell us anything relevant
 
LGMS631 the stock wifi is wiped clean ,not on phone anymore. what revelance do you want? i am not a gamer or comp-utor wiz ,i am an old disabled hippy who tweets @peaceOmind22 and such.the stock wifi no longer is installed.technical

That's the thing, what in the world are you doing with your device that WiFi doesn't turn on?? Or what's missing? You say the stock WiFi app? Settings app or what?
 
Blu8 are u serious ? what part of the wifi
is wiped clean off my phone ? i dont need sarcastic emails ,only a solution. how it got wiped is irrelivent.
 
Tell me what you did to your phone, that's not "irrelevant" if you screwed up your efs partition then it's never going to get fixed, unless you get the motherboard replaced, on the other hand if you just rooted and erased something from your /system partition then flashing back to stock will fix it. I'm not going to tell you to do random stuff until something sticks or your phone gets bricked.

@bb225, the more information you can give, the more help you will get. I'm sorry you felt attacked (I would have as well in your situation).

I'm assuming you somehow accidentally deleted your WiFi app.

Again if anyone wants to help, please be a little more considerate.
 
IV never heard of this problem before. Screen shot your problem and upload it. Ex. (Your settings menu where your WiFi settings option is missing) because we don't know if its your phone, router, password or if you found some sort of bug in the phone.
 
Lol at being considerate, no need to throw out those snarky comments man, if anyone wants to help kindly keep me out of it.
 
ok guys appreciate the input firstly i am not at all familiar with your knowledge, LGMS631 I rooted it with king root, installed jrummy rom installer and toolbox,twrp ,SU . i tryed to install another SU on jr/rom after the wifi switch on the pull down screen was flashing, i ended up removing it with jr/appmanager .its completely wiped off the device. i did glance on u tube the same LG with flashing on n off off wifi switch,but it was of no use anymore as i had already wiped it. the reason being i mistakenly thought playstore would be packed with custom wifi. its embarassing thats why i left out details...

If you are unsure about weather to delete an app or not, just ask hear. Someone will lead you in the right direction.[emoji217]
 
Yeah whatever that app uninstalled its more than just the switch for the WiFi, probably deleted something that broke it for good until you reflash your ROM
 
Hmm, if you have the MS631 then TWRP is definitely available for you, I have that same version of the Stylo. To install it you have to turn on developer options (settings>about phone>software info and tap on build number a bunch of times) once you did that and it says "you're now a developer" back out and a new option should be there right above "about phone" named developer options. Tap that and then scroll down to the line that says allow oem unlocking and tick that on. Then use the guide to install TWRP with flashify

.I dont have the file yet ,you need wifi to download 8( its at only 43%

x i have all that done already its the wrong one for my device twrp emailed me .do you have the ms631?

as i said im not at all familiar with all this if you could please give me a step by step id appreciate it. give anything more

If you're rooted with kingroot this should work, other than root and what's given in this page you don't need any of those other apps. When you have TWRP installed then you can flash that other thing you downloaded

Thx your awesum ! got that done,i did the dowload,twrp ,flashify n im type n still phew ha ha . i like the rum toolbox i delete alot of bloat ,but alas king user has that option. thats whay messed me up i thought i ruined the wifi so i wiped it and thought playstore would have all kinds of wifi installs not! im all for learning as much as i can. im on this around the clock i've 60.7k n climbing evra day . i can post stuff for ya ta ma clan no worrys
