YouTube TV - $35/month (grandfathered, it's $40)
Internet - $65/month
Amazon Prime - $10/month (new stupid $120/year on my next renewal)
MLB and NHL - each around $120/season

Even if I had cable I'd still get Amazon, MLB and NHL so they sort of don't count really. YouTube TV was the only service I found that has live local stations, all of them, I really wanted that feature. Besides, it's Google and they already know what I watch...

Dannydet, for $30 per month internet, what speeds are you getting and which company?

I kept internet and very basic cable (for now) otherwise internet only is too high and higher than my current internet+basic cable pkg.

I'm using Netflix, Amazon Prime, and PlutoTV as well as some Roku apps/free stuff on my smart TV.

(I had a month free DirecTV Now promo from my Smart TV/Roku but didn't renew it. Didn't even watch it that much and the antenna had a much clearer picture than DirecTV Now.)

I dropped cable TV but kept the high speed internet service. It was when the cable TV had moved more of my favorite channels to a higher-priced tier...finally decided that I had enough other glowing rectangles in my life. Replaced the cable TV with a Roku & don't miss it at all.

Who else has cut the cord for TV viewing?
I was paying $135 a month for cable TV, and switched to streaming using PSVue @ $45 a month, and internet only at $30 a month...
So far so good and money saved!

Mediacom highspeed internet, Roku and Chromecast.
Between Netflix, Amazon Prime and a few other paid yearly subscription services, always something good to watch.
If internet drops out due to bad weather, activate hotspot on phone and back in business.

Tube517, I'm using WOW for internet, at 30 mbps, $30 a month with no buffering issues on 2 tvs and 2 phones.
I'm using a dual band modem router by Netgear. 5G going to both tvs, 2.4G to everything else

Nice. WOW isn't available in my area. I would have been very interested. Thanks!

I pay $59 per month for Mediacom 100mbps. Probably way more than I need but never had buffering issue. Bought my own Motorola modem from Amazon and Linsky duel band router from WallyWorld.

We live in the sticks and when I first heard about cable TV, it was hard for me to grasp the concept. Didn't make it to my neighborhood till early 80's.

Antenna and freesat (UK) with some Chromecast. I had Virgin cable to tier tv and 200MBPS broadband, but I moved to a non-cabled area so had to go to fibre broadband (usually 24MBPS). money saved £45 per month. And I don't miss all the sport and porn channels as I never wanted or watched them.

I am actually enjoying DTVNow since I got in on the Go Big for the Try Me price when they rolled out the service. It was pretty awful when it started a year and a half ago but they are really improving it and adding local channels to the line-up too.I still have my digital antenna for those inaccessible channels though. $40 a month for reruns doesn't really hurt my feelings as much as cable's higher prices did.
