Help Cache cleaner and deleting history

Do I really need a cache cleaner for my S3 mini and Galaxy tablet ? I did have Cache Cleaner app on my tablet but even when I cleaned the cache through the app when I went into the application manager none of the cache had been removed on many of the applications for example yahoomail facebook etc so is there any point having it on either mobile or tablet. Also is there any point in clearing browsing history and can it even be done. Thanks guys

There are cache cleaners that work, even if that one didn't (I just tried the cache cleaner in Quick System Info and by browser caches enptied). Whether they are worth it is a different question. If you are struggling with space they will give you some strictly temporary respite, but are not a real solution.

If you are worried about privacy then you can clear your browser history. Just removes history on device I guess (I never sync browsers across devices anyway though).
