Caibre and Desire

What output profile should Calibre be set to to convert pdf to epub for a HTC Desire?I have tried a few but they all seems to show the book cover in Aldiko but the actual book seem to make it hang on blank pages, many thanks in advance all!

Might want to use the volume rocker keys or whatever page flip gesture you have set up in Alkido when you get a blank screen on loading a book for the first time. Think if it as about five to ten blank pages before the actual book.

There also seems to be VERY long load times for Alkido if a book has long chapters (and Calibre seems to make long chapters a lot when converting other formats, especially .pdf or .doc).

Ah I see thanks Croak, are there apps you use or recommend that do the tasks better?or a change of settings within the apps?

I'd suggest contacting Calibre and Aldiko about it, both seem receptive to feedback.
