Help Calendar after Gingerbread update

I updated to Gingerbread today but I cannot get my default calendar view to display the whole month view. I have the default view set to Month.

Has anyone else experienced this or have a solution that will help me?

Turn off your phone. Remove and reinstall the battery.

Yes, I tried that. Let me clarify this more. I am using the calendar widget on the desktop. When I use the widget it will not go to the monthly view. It use to before I upgraded to Gingerbread. If I use the normal applications shortcut to get to the calendar it does work.

I want the widget to go to the monthly view like it use to.

Try deleting the widget and reinstalling it.

I went a step further. I tried deleting the widget and then turning the phone off and pulling the battery then adding the widget back. No luck.

Try downloading GO Launcher and the GO Calendar Widget (or another free launcher app) and see if it will let you do that with the Calendar.
