Calendar App - Any Suggestions?

Looking for a real good calendar app that is easy to read and input new appointments into - free or paid. Thanks -

Stock one seems fine... What are the issues in the stock one you are trying to avoid?

If you use Gmail/Google calendar, I would recommend Calengoo. I use it and love it. I got it when I had my Skyrocket and it did a better job of syncing with my Google calendar. The colors in Calengoo for my different calendars are the same as in Google (wasn't working that way with stock on my SR).

Very easy to enter new events. You can long press, hold and move events to different times and/or different days. Easy to sync. Lots of options you can set and change. If you tap on the day, it will show you the layout where events are blocked, just like on your Google Calendar, which I like better than it just telling you the times for each event (I like to see what events may be overlapping and seeing the events in blocks is much easier than looking at the timing alone - at least for me).

Basically, it takes Google Calendar and essentially transplants it onto your phone. So, if you currently use Gmail/Google calendar on your computer, Calengoo is worth checking out, IMO.

I'm using Companion Link / Deja Office. It's a paid version that will get all your outlook information to your phone. I'm hooked on Outlook and needed: calendar, contacts, tasks, and memos. Deja Office will do the trick and keep your desktop synced with your phone, and that was very important to me. If you use Outlook and demand that you have all your memos, tasks, contacts, and calendar synced, this is probably well worth looking at.

If you don't need everything from Outlook synced, or don't even use outlook, there are plenty of other options to consider, and several decent ones already listed.

Is there a way to get Jorte to show my Google calendar all day events by changing the day's text color? That's the only thing stopping me from using it...

Nope, you can import Google Calendar etc, but it's separate app. It used to be my favorite until it wouldn't export/import from my razor to S3.

Ah ok. I used it ages ago but the widget kept breaking. I simply use go calendar which has the reliable s planner back end.

I've always used Touch Calendar, Calengoo or Business Calendar on my previous Android devices. That being said, none of them hold a candle to the stock calendar on the S3. Without a doubt, it's the best looking one I've seen, has plenty of nice features and has some good looking widgets which I never use.
