Calendar app recommendation please

hi i'm new here and this is my first thread
well i like googlecalendar. what i like is it can create an event with picture but to view it i need to click(touch) at the attachment. and that make me frustrated and i can't add contact from my phone on the event i created.
is there an app that let me do this?

i'm using htc desire 816
and calendar by htc is bad haha

The standard Google calendar will add from your contacts by tapping on 'Invite'. Kinda odd that you can't do it in the HTC calendar. You should be able to install it and use it instead of the HTC calendar.

My Favorite is Pimlical by Pimlico Software. Android version available, and PC version available that can be syncronized without using the cloud. Linking Contacts is a feature, along with many other features.

Very powerful App that has so many features it can get a little overwhelming until you get used to it. Also a little pricey (worth 10x the price to me). I've been using it for years as it evolved.

That sounds pretty interesting. I might look into that.
I recommend Pocket Informant, similar to what @glassmancheck mentioned, it's a very powerful and robust calendar with lots of cool features like attaching files and contacts to appointments and notes. Also manages task and notes. Downside is that unless your using the cloud, your calendar lives on your phone, unless you pay them (or another service) for activesync.
I don't use a Google calendar so i sync directly with my laptop to Thunderbird with Lightening Calendar plug-in via My Phone Explorer; An indispensable tool in syncing local calendars for free. If your not into the cloud i recommend this combination or what was mentioned in the last post.
