calendar birthday question

I have scoured the interwebz in search of an answer, all to no avail. How do I get rid of birthday notifications from my calendar (I use LauncherPro's sense calendar) without losing all my Facebook contact pictures? I don't care that much about most of my FB friends, and their birthdays are cluttering my calendar.

Go into the sense calander > menu > more > calanders and uncheck facebook this will remove the birthdays. Events are under another calander at least for me so i can still see events without birthdays. These are the steps for the version that came on my Desire so launcher pro should be close.
