Calendar/Event/Task App that sends you emails?

FDokinawa

I'm looking for an app that will send me an email at a time/day I specify to remind me of an event or something that I need to remember. I don't need something that sets my alarm off since when I'm at home I never have my phone on me. And I'm not allowed to have my phone at work, but I'm usually on my Gmail at both home and work.. so an email is the best way for me to keep track of stuff I need to do..

Anyone have an app that does that??

Astrid can sync either to Producteev or Astrid.com. Both sites can send you emails, while Producteev has the added function of syncing to Outlook.

I use Business Calendar Free. It sends scheduled notifications to my phone plus it allows me to click on hotlinks I added to the event like a callback number or a url link, etc...

Downloaded that earlier.. not seeing anything on my tablet or phone about sending me an email reminder.. Again, I dont need anything to pop up on my phone/tablet. All I want is an email.

Looked at astrid.com and not seeing anything there about sending them to my email address either.

Syncing Business Cal with your android google account will allow you to set up daily reminders to be emailed to addresses you set in Google Calendar notification settings..

thanks for the recommendation, but again.. don't need anything sent to my phone. just my email address. Only time I will receive anything on my phone is if I am actually using it.. I can go all day without touching my phone if Im at home.

daily reminders? as in I would get an email a day on whatever I have on my calendar?

Yup, I have a Streak phone/tab combo I use mosty for business. Business Calendar because of the easy widgets an dv how it has more of a business layer to it.

However syncing up with the Google account you can set your google reminders to email daily agendas. I have three callendars set up. One'n is legit and the other two were tests and each has a different email address I assigned so to get daily agendas emailed and what time id like it to be emailed

I only need to be reminded of something like maybe once a month.. so having a calendar app or something that requires me to look at it daily would just be an annoyance.

Example, I work shift work, so I end up with a lot of days off during the week.. well I missed a meeting this morning because it was at the end of one of my 4 day "weekends".. last thing on my mind yesterday. But... if I would have gotten an email last night around 9PM I would have went to bed and gone to the meeting instead of staying up late and sleeping in. Other then something like this I really have no need for any sort of calendar/task list.. my life is not that busy. But I really hate seeing my boss after I miss a meeting..

In astrid.com, it automatically sends you daily of an email of your "digest", or list of tasks to do for that day and as well as tasks that are overdue. This works for the same way as Producteev.

Or you could just set a calendar event with an alarm, and Google will email you itself.

Then no need to install an app. You already have a Google account associated with your android device. Just log onto your Google Calendar, set your calendar up, enter your schedule of events coming up, etc.

Finally, navigate to the notification settings and associate the frequency and time you would like the email sent. Then youll get the email via computer or phone, whichever you happen to be.accessing.

The added layer of Business Calendar app is when you may not be at a computer and you need to log a new event "before" you are at a computer to do so. Then you can do it right from tbe app. Otherwise, the only way to do so is loggimg onto Google toadd such.

did some testing today.. seems that Google Calendar will send me an email if the 'Event' I make is done on my computer. If I do it on my phone, what is what im trying to do, it will not send me an email reminder.

Im not looking for an app that sends me a daily report or anthing like that, I need something that will send me emails at specific times of the day that I set..
