Help Calendar missing?

Hello everyone,

I have a new Samsung Galaxy 3 and can't find the Calendar application. I believe it should have been included with the phone, however, I fail to find it.

In addition, I keep getting infamous message:
"unfortunately google calendar sync has stopped working"

I wonder if this error prevented Calendar application from starting up and getting configured at all?

Any help will be appreciated.

I don't have Calendar app, however, there is 'S Planner' one. I assume the S Planner one would do the trick.

However, I keep getting the error message anytime I try to synch Google Calendar (when invoked from my Samsung III).

I have found this discussion and the experience seems to be pretty relevant to what I am going through:

This is very frustrating. I have just switched my iPhone 4 for Samsung III and this seems to be pretty big issue to me - inability to sync calendar between my Android device and Google Calendar.

Did you ever find a solution to your problem? If not, did you try a factory reset? I've not had any problems with syncing my calendar using the calendar app I posted above. Perhaps a third party alternative would work.
