Calendar not setting repetitive event properly

I am using a Droid Incredible and I wanted to put it some family members into my calendar with a yearly repeat. When I set up the event, the repetitive events all fall on the day before they are supposed to, even though when I edit the event it says the right date. anyone know a way around this issue/is this documented anywhere else?

Happens to me if I make it an all-day event, but not otherwise. Somebody in another thread suggested selecting start and end times manually to span the whole day (instead of checking the "all day" box), and that seems to work.

or just change it to an all day in the web calendar when you get to a computer. it seems to work properly there. I don't like spanning the whole day the other way seems messy IMHO.
