calendar pad pro

I just downloaded calendar pad pro and I can't seem to change the
colors for specific events. Under settings and calendar settings I see where u can change the colors but it never appears on the calendar. Please if anyone could help that would be great. I have an incredible.

I it a widget? I would make the changes, then reboot the app. Aka, stop/kill the app, then reopen it.
