Calendar sync

Hi team!, is there a way to sync calendar between Office and G1? I know on google they have the sync program, but I get a message that it's only for Office 2003 and higher.
My Office Outlook is 2002 (10.2627.2525)

That is the way I got my contact into G1, but I didn't think you can do calendar this way as well.

Does anyone knows if it will work?

I uploaded my outlook calendar to google calandar that way. When I converted it it told me that recurring events could not be converted but then some did come across.

I can work with CSV (had to do it at work all the time when I had BB and they didn't allow sync), I just couldn't find the option. I simply gave up after trying to use that silly sync program.
