Calendar syncing Facebook events

I have unchecked the box for calendar sync for facebook, which it does remove the syncing of the events, but not of peoples birthdays! this is so annoying as i dont want to be reminded of peoples birthdays!

how can i remove all syncing with facebook calendar so not even peoples birthdays are synced to my calendar?

Im using the default calendar app for the Galaxy S.

If it is the same as the Epic 4G, then look at what color the birthdays were coming up as.

The birthdays were coming up in my phone as pink, and facebook events as blue.

So I went Calendar>Menu>Settings>Calendar>Uncheck My calendar

then all the birthdays went away

Device: Samsung Galaxy Y
FB for Android version 1.8.1

when I first installed FB for Android, I remember seeing FB events synced in the Calendar along with other Google Calendars that I'd synced.

Because I saw events that I didn't want to see, and the birthdays weren't visible, I unchecked the Facebook Cal and also removed FB app completely.

I reinstalled FB app and now I see that the Calendar Sync option is just not there! FB Events have disappeared and I can't see it anywhere!

Can anyone help me? Is it at all possible to see the FB Birthdays using the native FB app?

I really don't like the idea of importing FB events in Google Calendar!!
