Hi All,
What are the required settings to prevent calendar notifications from 'permanently' turning on the screen?
A calendar reminder popped up while the phone was in the belt-clip pouch and permanently turned on the screen. Read here 'permanently' as in 'turned on and did not turn off after time out or proximity sensor read'.
Only when I noticed the phone heating up and picked it from the pouch I saw the screen active and the calendar notification. Up to then a significant amount of battery was wasted as shown in battery curve going into a steep dive. After calendar notification was clicked away power consumption returned to normal.
I am expecting the calendar notification to be indicated when I turn on the phone the next time, but not by itself turn it (permanently) on (in the belt pouch) when I don't see it and waste power. I must be missing the proper settings here.
Thanks,
Gert
