Help Calendar

[Android Question]

I'm trying to delete one instance of a reoccurring event on my calendar, and the only option it keeps giving me is to delete "this and future events" or " all events in series." I used to be able to do this before, but for some reason I can't anymore. I updated my Galaxy s5 with the new software update. I'm not sure if this has anything to do with it. Thanks!

It could be the update - I don't have a S5 so can't say, but it's quite possible the calendar app changed as part of the update. Would seem an odd thing to remove.

Try a different calendar app. There are a lot of good ones in the Play Store, and they will still have this option (all of mine do, and I'm running 5.02 so it's not the Android version that's the problem). Or if you only do this occasionally and prefer to keep the current app, visit Google calendar via a Web browser and remove the appointment there, and hope they release an app update that fixes this before the next time.
