Do you have the calendar set to sync in the settings?

Ensure you background sync is turned on as well. If you add to the online calendar does it show up on your phone?

Sounds to me like those specific events are not synching because google doesn't accept how they are formatted. Just a guess but if some are synching and some are not in both directions then your app is probably doing it wrong.

I've had the same problem, however events are showing up on my HTC calendar. Here's what I found-

Goto:
Menu
Settings
Applications
Manage Applications
All
Select Calendar Storage
Select Clear Data
Confirm with ok
Restart Phone and Sync again
(You may not need to re-sync after you reboot)
