Call Control - block numbers except ones in contacts

Lurker
Does anyone know if it's possible to block all incoming calls except those from people in my list of contacts?

Call Control (which in general is great) seems to imply in its Help webpages that it is possible, but it doesn't seem to work. I have ticked 'Block unknown numbers', then I do a test ring from a number not in my contacts... but it comes through to my phone, actually makes it ring. Hmm. All I want to do is block all calls from those not in my contacts. Isn't that possible with Call Control?

(The white list should, apparently, have nothing to do with my issue, because it says in Help that the white list already contains all numbers in contacts).

I suppose the essence of this is what does Call Control mean by 'Block Unknown'. Does it mean calls with numbers that are not possible to ascertain (but surely that's what is meant by their other option of 'Unknown ID'). Or do they mean unknown to the handset i.e. not in the contacts.

Help! please!

thanks gtbarry... since posting, I've also discovered the app Mr Number, which also does what I need. I posted because i thought Call Control would offer the same, but that I was missing it.

So case closed, I think.
Thanks again.

You now can go to you DND which stands for do not disturb.Choose the 24/7 option on, and it will give you the option on the top right to add your contacts and or your allowed list as exceptions.
The DND is the clock With DND on it normally at the bottom right of your phone when you open CallControl.

Hope that helps
