Call History time stamp

SpazC

Lurker
Searched this Forum and Several others. my Google-Fu must be rusty as I didnt see any results.

How do you change your call history to read out the time of the call in the list rather than saying "18 hours ago" or "1 day ago"

I do all my work on my cell phone and my call history gets used frequently during the process.

Thanks,

- SC

Don't know about any adjustments, but have you tapped on the call itself? As I recall, it gives you details about the call, including time details.

I know you can tap on the calls to see specifics. I'm just used to being able to look at it on the fly, and honestly its seems quite tedious to have to click on EVERY call to see a time stamp when they are showing the approximate time already.

In addition to the answer from Einsteindks, there is a free app in the Play Store called SMS Backup+. In addition to backing up SMS and MMS messages, it can back up call logs to both a label in a GMail account as well as place call details in a Google calendar of your choice. So, you can have a Google calendar (I have one called "Mobile Phone Calls") which has an entry for every call placed and received, with times, etc. It's a great app.

Thanks for the app links.

Sad that such a simple option ( approx vs time stamp) isn't built in. Guess I got too used to HTC tweaking my previous phones :( .

I'm going to check and see if GOSMS has an add on with the same functionality.
