Call log not writing, SMS log is okay

[Android Question]

I changed my front screen today and observed that call log stopped working, however when i change view by to all logs, I can see updated SMS logs. I am not sure if this problem is related to change of front screen. Anybody faced similar issue ? Any help or feedback is welcomed.

More information on the above problem : Phone make is Samsung S3. All the other functionality related to calls are working like creating contacts etc.

Problem is solved. It was silly, somehow date of the phone has changed to earlier date, and thus logs were not showing. I changed the date , and now it is okay.
