Root Call notification during another call, not working on Galaxy S

Hi
I am using Galaxy S (European version) for past few months.
Sometime back I realized that I am not receiving any missed call notification.

In my past phones (Nokia) it would make some kind of beep sound if a call comes during another call
and it would show the missed call notification after the current call ends.

But none of these are happening on my Galaxy S.

Is it common for all Galaxy S / Android phones, or is there any settings to turn this notification on/off?

I am using Android 2.1 that it came with.
Also haven't rooted it (just in case it has something to do with this issue.)


I would really appreciate any help.

I figure you might have already solved this problem, but here it is anyways.

I was just looking up this problem and I solved it myself. I have no idea how to attach links to the actual post I posted but here is what you have to do

Settings -> Call Settings -> Voice Calls -> checked Call Waiting

Just checked my calling my phone from google voice on the computer and textfree with calling from my ipod and it worked perfectly.
