Help call quality

I just bought a moto Z droid and the call quality is terrible. I changed to HD and thought it was better but... I guess not. Some calls are normal. some tinny sounding and some sound like the person is in a wind tunnel. HELP!

That's the next place I am headed. a lot of times they don't give you a good answer so I wanted to try users first.
