Help Call record, other persons voice really faint

I'm running a Samsung Galaxy SIII GT-I9305 LTE custom ROM'd with LiquidSmooth 2.9.

I've tried a number of call recording apps. All of them have the same problem. My voice is loud and clear, but the other person's is really, really faint.

Is there a volume setting I can play around with or is there something in the 'default_gain.conf' file, located - system/etc that can fix this?

It records thire voice from the microphone not the actual phone line .. so use the speaker

Since you're on a custom ROM you can run a custom kernel that allows for adjustment of mic sensitivity, however, I'm not sure what custom kernels there are for the i9305; have a look over at XDA developers.

I have been using the Boeffla based kernels (some install with the boeffla mod app in recovery) and adjusted the mic levels in the app. Works very well.
