Help Call Recorder App Not Working

Hi Friends,
A buddy of mine has a Nexus 6 with Marshmallow and he used an app called Call recorder and he says that he can´t gey any of the conversations. He says that he gets an error message the phone doesn’t support recording – this is latest of the google phones. Its should work, right? Perhaps the carrier doesn't allow it due to the legality of it:

Since recording of telephone conversations is allowed in some countries, many vendors disable the ability to record during a call, and so I ask you not to put the bad ratings!

this is probably more app related and not just an issue on the nexus, so lets move it to the app forum to let more eyes see and possibly comment.

make sure your partner does not have any other recording apps running that may have taken control of the device...

I tried all of the apps in Play Store trying to find one that really works. the only one that is consistent in performance on my Samsung Note 4 ( S5 ) is Auto Call Recorder, by Dr-Med Amine

I just looked at the write up on that one, and it is impressive.
Will have to give it a whirl....

EDIT: oops! $1/month and that leaves me out.... the one I referenced does a good job and is free.

as with everything in the Play Store, it is nearly impossible to "find every app" that addresses what you are looking for. That is why these forums are so great... we share what we have found.
