Call recorder issues!

A call recorder I was using started giving me trouble a few months ago and then realized all the call recorders I try act the same way.

When I play the recording back I can here myself but the other side of the call is gargly so bad I can't hear anything legible.

I use a call recorder because my memory has been screwy since last major surgery and I use it to keep certain people honest due to me being screwed over in past due to no evidence so it's kind of a big deal to keep a call recorder.

What can I do? TIA!!!
 
All I'm getting is "please wait while we connect your phone call". It has yet to connect a phone call. What am I doing wrong?

It is very possible that whoever you are calling does not recognize the number and is not answering.

Dingtone gives you a number that is different from your normal number.

Who you call wont know it is you, unless you have given them this new number.

I have my main device set to only receive calls and texts from numbers in my contacts, so unless I had your Dingtone number in my contacts you would get the same results calling me.

Yes I was testing calling a drs office and a few other businesses to see if I could hear playback on the recorder.... no calls go through.
 
Now my call recorder won't even acknowledge the call and the dial screen is glitchy... I may need to try something else. I don't think this phone likes it too much lol.
 
This is strange, because I have been using Dingtone for years.

Are you using it while connected to Wi-Fi, or are you using cellular data?

The app requires one of these in order to work.
