Call Registry Problem

I have a Merit Z990G. So far it works great. I have a problem with the call registry. For what ever reason a call goes to voice mail, the call information is not listed and I can't find where it might be stored. It is critical that all incoming calls be listed. How can I change the call list to include the calls that have gone to voice mail ??
